The article discusses the theoretical problems of studying the socialization of Kazakhstani youth, the typology of theories, shows the main directions for studying practical experience and evaluating technologies for the socialization of children and youth as a purposeful process. The author emphasizes that the study of the experience of activity, the problems of its effectiveness and ways of its optimization depends directly on the level of theoretical elaboration of the problems of socialization.
