TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN MIXED PRIMARY SCHOOL CLASSES AS A MEANS OF SOCIALIZATION OF IMMIGRANT CHILDREN

Abstract (English):
The article examines one of the approaches to the socialization of immigrant children in Russian society, implemented in mixed classes of primary schools in English lessons. The methodology was developed taking into account the social and psychological characteristics of immigrant children, as well as the principles of teaching, which take into account the multinational composition of the class. The social and psychological characteristics of immigrant children from two macro-regions - the Caucasus and Central Asia - are presented and classified. In accordance with the psychological and pedagogical characteristics of younger students, options for topics for English lessons are proposed and examples of lesson fragments are given demonstrating the methodology for forming the foundations of Russian civic identity.
