DEVELOPMENT OF A METHODOLOGY FOR MODELING BUSINESS PROCESSES OCCURRING IN MANAGED SYSTEMS USING BPMN NOTATION

Abstract (English):
The transition from the fifth technological order to the sixth one that is taking place in the world economy will naturally entail radical changes not only in the structure of the economy, but also in the content of business processes. It is appropriate to assume that as the sixth technological order develops, the organization of business processes may undergo the same revolutionary changes that took place in the 1980s after the fourth technological order was replaced by the fifth one, known as business process reengineering, and called by their creators Michael Hammer and James Champy nothing less than the "Manifesto of the Business Revolution". Due to the fact that when the sixth technological order replaces the fifth one, another revolution in business can be expected (conditional business process reengineering-2), there is an objective need to determine the possibilities and prospects for using existing business process modeling methodologies for these purposes. The purpose of the presented work is to study the possibilities and prospects for the development of the BPMN business process modeling methodology in the development of sixth-wave technologies and the expectation of the next revolution in business (business process reengineering-2). The scientific significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that, given the expected technological revolution associated with the onset of the sixth wave, within the framework of the hypothesis of a change in the paradigm of business process reengineering of the 1980s, a new paradigm of radical rethinking of business processes (conditionally designated reengineering-2), expected in the 2030s, it seems to supplement the main types of blocks of BPMN methodology models (private, abstract and interaction processes) with a block of modeling the transformation of business processes. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the possibility of taking them into account when considering the directions of development of the methodology for modeling processes occurring in managed systems using the BPMN notation.
