The article is devoted to the effectiveness of using stop-motion animation as a means of training and development of children with hearing impairments and those without disabilities within the framework of additional education programs. It presents the results of research work based on the writing and implementation of an additional general developmental program “Step into animation: from slavic patterns to buryat buuzes”, aimed at identifying the characteristics of the work of these categories of children with an unconventional method of learning new materials and their performance.
