The article discusses the problem of organizing joint activities of primary school students to form information culture as a set of skills to work with information. The main criteria for the formation of information culture are characterized. The conditions for organizing successful joint activities aimed at developing information culture in primary school students are considered: familiarization with information resources; solving information retrieval problems and creative tasks.
