Purpose of the study: to develop a methodology for developing strength qualities in 9th grade girls using athletic gymnastics in physical education lessons. Objectives of the study: to determine and evaluate the initial level of physical fitness (development of strength qualities) in girls of basic school; determine the existing experience of strength exercises among 9th grade girls; to develop a methodology for increasing strength qualities in 9th grade girls using athletic gymnastics, test it in practice and evaluate its effectiveness. As a result of monitoring pedagogical testing, we saw that the use of athletic gymnastics complexes developed by us in physical education lessons led to a statistically significant increase in results in all selected motor tests.
