THE PROBLEM OF EDUCATIONAL MOTIVATION IN YOUNGER SCHOOLCHILDREN WITH MENTAL RETARDATION AND COMPLEX DISORDERS IN THE STUDIES OF DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN AUTHORS

Abstract (English):
This article summarizes the results of a theoretical review of specialized literature on the problem of educational motivation in children with mental retardation and complex disorders; various approaches to the definition of the concept of "complex disorders" in domestic and modern foreign psychology are considered. The relevance of the study of the chosen problem from the point of view of the organization of training of younger schoolchildren with mental retardation and complex disorders is substantiated. The views of domestic theorists and practitioners on the problem of complex disorders are presented, the features of educational motivation and learning ability in children with complex disorders are considered. The article presents the results of empirical studies conducted by various domestic researchers on the features and problems of educational motivation in younger schoolchildren with mental retardation, on the difficulties and peculiarities arising in the process of organizing the educational process with children of this category, on the attitude to learning activities in younger.
