Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to the problem of formation of lexical skills in younger schoolchildren in Russian language lessons. The author considers and analyzes the existing formulations of this concept. The proper definition of the specified term is derived. The list of lexical skills and the number of exercises in textbooks of grades 1 and 2 aimed at their formation are presented. Different types of exercises are demonstrated that allow you to organize lexical work in the lesson.
