Abstract (English):
The article examines the features of the formation of semantic reading skills in third-grade students in literary reading lessons, which determine the organization of work with works of different genres in accordance with the updated Federal State Educational Standard for Primary General Education. General approaches to the analysis of epic and lyrical works are presented, the specifics of the methodology for teaching the skills of perception and interpretation of poetic and prose texts are revealed.
