STATISTICAL MODELS OF THE DYNAMICS OF DEVELOPMENT OF SCIENCE IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract (English):
The relevance of the presented research lies in the fact that in modern conditions, under the influence of the permanent tightening of anti-Russian sanctions from the West, the need to solve the problem of the country's technological sovereignty has increased significantly, which in turn has led to the intensification of the processes of development of domestic science and innovation. The purpose of the presented research is to identify patterns and prospects for the development of science in the Russian Federation based on the construction of statistical models of the dynamics of changes in the number of organizations performing scientific research and development in the Russian Federation, as well as the number of personnel engaged in scientific research and development in the Russian Federation. The scientific novelty of the results obtained lies in the identification, based on the construction and analysis of models, of the dynamics of development trends, according to which the number of organizations performing scientific research and development in the Russian Federation for the period from 2000 to 2022 grew at an average rate of 1.15% per year. At the same time, the growth trend of the organizations under consideration is moderately stable. At the same time, it was found that the number of personnel engaged in scientific research and development in the Russian Federation from 2010 to 2022 decreased at an average annual rate of 0.88% per year. At the same time, the trend of personnel reduction has a high degree of sustainability. The practical significance of the results obtained lies in the possibility of using the obtained models to form mechanisms for stimulating the processes of scientific development in the Russian Federation for the upcoming period of development.
