Sweden is known as a country of victorious feminism, where women are guaranteed almost equal rights with men and conditions are created for a real leveling of the playing field. The gender equality policies it has chosen are considered exemplary, even among Western European countries. This paper reflects the key areas of contemporary women's government policies and assesses the effectiveness of their implementation. In the future, the experience of state feminism can be applied in circumpolar countries.
