The article examines the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) into the practices of social workers in Russia, including those working with people with disabilities and other special educational needs (SEN). It analyzes how digital tools are used to improve the efficiency of social support services, streamline administrative processes, and personalize interactions with citizens. Using examples from initiatives such as the Unified State Information System for Social Security (EGISSO) and the Moscow Longevity project, it highlights the opportunities and ethical challenges of digital transformation. Key issues include data privacy, algorithmic bias, and digital inequality, which are particularly significant for people with disabilities. The article concludes with recommendations for the ethically sound implementation of digital tools and the development of inclusive approaches to their design, emphasizing the need for professional training of social workers to work in the digital environment.
