This article analyzes the implementation of the Federal Service-Learning Program by pedagogical universities in the Russian Federation. It examines the social practices of volunteering as a means of implementing this program, considers the diversity of various forms of volunteering in the pedagogical process, and assesses student participation in educational projects and its impact on the 268 development of their ability to organize individual and joint educational and learning activities with children and adolescents. The results of the sociological study presented in the article reveal the specific features of the social practices of pedagogical volunteering, which correlate with the characteristics of the target groups served by social partners – organizations involved in the implementation of the developed Service-Learning program. Particular attention is paid to comparing assessments of the pedagogical volunteering process from the perspective of students and the leadership of pedagogical universities responsible for organizing pedagogical volunteering as part of the Service-Learning program module. The study was carried out within the framework of the state assignment for research and development of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation on the topic “Pedagogical volunteering as a means of implementing the “Service-learning” module in pedagogical universities” (Agreement No. 073-03-2025-047/6).
