MOTIVATIONAL PROFILES OF GENERATION Z AS A FACTOR IN THE FORMATION OF PERSONNEL POTENTIAL OF HIGH-TECH ENTERPRISES (COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF SEVERSK AND TOMSK)
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
Relevance. The study is driven by the systemic crisis of attractiveness of high-tech enterprises for Generation Z against the backdrop of national technological sovereignty strategies. Purpose. This pilot study aims to test a methodology for the comparative assessment of high school students' motivational profiles and to identify key barriers to their employment in the industrial sector. Methods. A comparative survey-based study was conducted using an original questionnaire among 10th-grade students in Seversk and Tomsk (126 individuals took part in the survey.), with subsequent statistical data analysis. Results. The study revealed a paradoxical gap between high brand recognition of enterprises (85–95%) and an extremely low desire for employment (2–9%). The phenomenon of "double alienation", combining the negative image of the industry and the misalignment of educational trajectories, was empirically confirmed. Territorial differences were established: in Seversk, loyalty to the city-forming enterprise and orientation towards vocational education are higher. Scientific novelty lies in the development and testing of a toolkit for the comparative analysis of motivational profiles in cities with different socio-economic structures (mono-city vs. regional center). Practical significance: Based on the results, elements of an adaptive motivation model (the "menu of opportunities" principle) and differentiated HR strategies for territories have been formulated, setting a vector for further research within the dissertation work.
