The article examines modern approaches to differentiated teaching of the Russian language as an opportunity to provide conditions for self-realization of a junior school student at any stage of education. The article characterizes the features of the differentiated approach taking into account the different components of the didactic process: motives, goals, content, teaching methods. The main features of the methodology that allows for a differentiated approach in the process of teaching the Russian language are revealed.
