The article discusses the current problem of maintaining psychological health and building stress tolerance. Stress tolerance is presented as a key quality that contributes to maintaining optimal working capacity and an adequate mental state in conditions of increased stress. The work analyzes the factors influencing the level of stress tolerance, including personal characteristics, life experience, as well as motivational aspects. In particular, there are various types of stress tolerance and stress reduction techniques, such as autogenic training and breathing techniques. The results of the conducted research among students of the Faculty of Psychology demonstrate a high level of stress tolerance of the respondents, which underlines the importance of this quality for the professional activities of future psychologists.
