Повышение эффективности лесопромышленного комплекса во многом зависит от использования качественного семенного материала. Для повышения качества лесных насаждений используют семенной материал от "плюсовых" деревьев. Учитывая, что урожайность семян из года в год не одинаковая, возникает необходимость в создании запасов качественных лесных семян на несколько лет.
