Requirements for the paper

Content Requirements

The journal publishes articles that match the aims and scope of the journal and its headings. An article must be original, previously unpublished, and must not violate intellectual property rights of third parties.

Length of paper: 20-40 thousand characters (including spaces).

Design requirements

The text should be typed in Microsoft Word, and savedin DOC, DOCX, or RTF formats. File name should include author's name and article's title.

Paper Structure:

  • name of the author, title;
  • abstract (100-250 words);
  • keywords (5-7 words or phrases, separated by semicolon);
  • full text of the article (the main text font : Times New Roman; font-size body text is 12 PT; margins: top and bottom - 2 sm, right and left - 3 sm; line spacing - single; indent the first line of the paragraph - 1,25 sm; text-align justify; references in formulas are given in parentheses; for formulas in the formula editor; pictures by means of Word; raster images are provided as separate JPG files of minimum 300 dpi resolution);
  • references;
  • information about the author: position, scientific degree, academic rank; the address information of the author(s) (organization(s), address(s); e-mail of all or one author).

To highlight text use bold and italic. It is recommended to use italic for examplesand bold for new terms and concepts.

It is not recommended to use UPPERCASE, sp a c i n g and an underscore; footnotes.

All Illustrative materials should be in TIFF or JPG files of minimum 300 dpi resolution (if available).

Ethics of scientific publications of the journal «Economics»

Edition, editorial council and editor-in-chief of the journal «Economics» in the activity undertakes to be guided by the ethical principles of scientific publications developed based on recommendations of Committee on Publication Ethics and the Code of ethics of scientific publications, demand their observance from all participants of publishing process.

The principles that should guide the author of scientific publications

The author (or group of authors) is aware that bears primary responsibility for the novelty and validity of the results of scientific research, which involves the following principles:

 

  1. The authors of the article should provide reliable results of studies having scientific novelty. Knowingly false or fraudulent statements unacceptable.
  2. Authors must ensure that the results of the study outlined in the submitted manuscript is completely original. Borrowed fragments or statements must issue with the obligatory indication of the author and the source. Excessive borrowing and plagiarism in any form, including unregistered quotes, paraphrasing or assignment of the rights to the results of other people's research is unethical and unacceptable.
  3. It is necessary to recognize the contributions of all persons, one way or another influenced the course of the study, in particular, the article must be submitted references to works that have value in the study.
  4. Authors should not submit the manuscript to the journal, which has been sent to another journal and is under consideration, as well as an article is already published in another journal.
  5. Co-authors of the article should include all persons who have made significant contributions to the study. Among the sponsors is unacceptable to indicate persons who are not involved in the study.
  6. If the author finds significant errors or inaccuracies in the article on the stage of examination or after its publication, the Editor must be informed as soon as possible.

 

The principles of professional ethics in the work of editor and publisher

The editor is responsible for the publication of original works, which imposes the need to follow the following basic principles:

 

  1. Decisions to accept or reject a paper for publication should be based on the valid data and scientific importance of the proposed work.
  2. The content of manuscripts is valued regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, origin, nationality, social status or political affiliation of the authors.
  3. Unpublished data from the manuscripts submitted for consideration should not be used for personal purposes, or passed on to third parties without the written consent of the author. Information or ideas obtained in the course of editing and related to the potential benefits must be kept confidential and not used for the purpose of personal gain.
  4. The editor should not allow the publication of the information, if there is sufficient reason to believe that it is plagiarism.
  5. Editors together with the publisher shouldn't leave unanswered complaints concerning the examination of manuscripts or published materials. In the event of a conflict they should take all necessary measures to redress.

 

Ethical principles in activity of the reviewer

The reviewer carries out scientific examination of author's materials owing to what his actions have to have the impartial character consisting in performance of the following principles:

 

  1. The manuscript received for reviewing has to be considered as the confidential document, which cannot be transferred for acquaintance or discussion to the third parties who do not have on those powers from edition.
  2. The reviewer is obliged to give the objective and reasoned assessment to the stated results of research. The personal criticism of the author is unacceptable.
  3. The unpublished data obtained, from the manuscripts presented to consideration should not be used by the reviewer for the personal purposes.
  4. The reviewer who does not have, in his opinion, enough qualification for valuation of the manuscript or who can't be objective, for example in the case of a conflict of interest with the author or organization, should inform the editor with a request to exclude him/her from the review process of this manuscript.

 

Main terms

  1. Ethics of scientific publications are a system of norms of professional behavior in relationship of authors, reviewers, editors, publishers and readers in the course of creation, distribution and use of scientific publications.
  2. The editor - the representative of scientific magazine or publishing house who is carrying out preparation of materials for the publication, and also supporting communication with authors and readers of scientific publications.
  3. The author is the person or a group of persons (group of the authors) participating in creation of the publication of results of scientific research.
  4. The reviewer - the expert who is acting on behalf of the scientific magazine or publishing house and carrying out scientific expertise of author's materials for the purpose of definition of possibility of their publication.
  5. The publisher - the legal or natural person, carrying out appearance of the scientific publication.
  6. Plagiarism - deliberate assignment of authorship of others work of science or art, foreign ideas or inventions. Plagiarism can be violation of the author's and legal legislation and patent legislation and as that can cause legal responsibility.

Procedure of publication of articles in the journal "Economics"

Submission of an application

In order to submit an application to publication the author should register on the website Naukaru.ru and submit an application to publication by means of Personal account or send the file of the article to the e-mail: ekonomika@rambler.ru and mag5@naukaru.ru (both addresses).

The application must comply with formal editorial requirements.

Admission of an application

After accepting of the application the editor-in-chief (deputy editor-in-chief) determines whether the article answers the subject of the journal and comply with formal editorial requirements.

The materials which do not conform to these requirements will be returned to the authors with reasoning.

The materials which answer these requirements will be forwarded to reviewing mainly to the editorial board members.

Reviewing

All scientific articles submitted to the editors are subjected to reviewing.

The editor-in-chief (deputy editor-in-chief) forwards the article to two experts (PhD or ScD) in the sphere reviewed material belongs to.

The journal "Economics" has a blind review process (review process is anonymous both for authors and reviewers).

The review should reflect the expert assessment of:

  • relevance of research topic;
  • research goal and objectives;
  • scientific novelty;
  • theoretical and practical value of the work;
  • methodology and methods of research;
  • credibility value of research results.

The review should contain a resume about the possibility of the article's publication in the journal: "recommended to be published", "recommended to be published after correction according to reviewer's comments", "shouldn't be published".

After reviewing the editorial board makes the final decision about publication or rejection of the article based on expert appraisals.

If the editorial board decides to publish or reject the article, it will inform the author.

Negative reviews are sent to authors upon request.

Agreement conclusion

When the article is accepted for publication the author concludes an agreement with the editors: presents necessary data, prints out the agreement, signs it and posts to the editors.

Publishing

After publication of the journal's issue the article obtains DOI-number and the information about the article is sent to RSCI (Russian Science Citation Index).

The authors are informed about the article's publication by e-mail.

The author can receive pdf-file of the article for free or buy a print issue of the journal.

Mission

"Economics" - the new scientific and practical journal devoted to problems of economic science, to problems of economy and economic policy. In the journal problems of world, national, branch and regional economy, economy of resources, questions of forecasting of economic development, questions of economic policy and economic strategy will be considered.

The objective of the edition consists in distribution of achievements of modern economic science, discussion of the best the practician in economic policy and in business for the purpose of increase of efficiency of domestic economy and its integration into the world economic space.

The journal "Economics" introduces to readers successfully carried out innovative projects, which allowed to resolve problems of national, regional economy, territory economy, to resolve branch economic problems, problems of business, problems of international trade and investments.

The editorial board invites scientists-economists, heads and specialists of the organizations and the enterprises, authors who see problems of modernization of domestic economy, economy of the countries - trade partners of Russia and offer concrete ways of their decision to participate in publications.

The editorial board hopes that the new journal will be interesting and useful to readers, will increase popularity of the Russian economic science, will help to provide effective introduction of new researches and development.

The editorial policy is based on respect of the editorial independence and ethics. All articles submitted to the journal are reviewed. The journal uses single blind peer review type.
