Mission

The journal "Primary Education" was established in 2003 when the school has begun to implement the educational standard of the first generation that demanded professional development from teachers. "Primary Education" is a scientific-methodical journal, has a complex character, is devoted to actual scientific and educational-methodological issues in primary education. Its mission is the improvement of learning, development and education of younger students through professional development of teachers. The main objective of the journal is to develop teachers' understanding of the goals of primary education, which the modern society, the state, the family put in front of an elementary school, to promote the awareness of necessary of changes in the content, methods, means and forms of training to achieve a higher level of early childhood education.

In light of this, special attention is given to publications that reveal the actual problems of modern primary schools in the following issues:

Implementing the standard of the second generation
Innovations in education
Creative workshop
Helping a teacher
Renewal of content of primary education
Psychologist's page
Classic pedagogy

Important objectives of the journal editorial staff considers discussion with readers the problems of primary education, different views on topical issues of didactics of primary school (issues "From the portfolio of chief editor", "Discuss the issue").

The key issue of journal conceptual strategy is also improving the quality of teacher education, forming a specialist of higher qualification that meets the requirements of the unified European higher education within the Bologna process.

10 years as The chief editor of the jouranl is the authoritative expert in the field of primary education, the member-correspondent of Russian Academy of education, doctor of pedagogical Sciences N. F. Vinogradova, head of the primary education sector in Institute of Means and Methods of Education of the Russian Academy of Education. The collective of the sector became the main body of the Editorial board of the journal. It consists of leading experts in the field of psychology and physiology, hygienists, representatives of various scientific schools of Russia's regions.

Great attention has been paid to the form of presentation of material - the Editorial board seeks to to ensure that the information was useful, interesting, drew a warm response from the reader.

High quality and relevance of publications, the professionalism of the authors, accessible form of presentation provide sustainable reader's interest and high ranking of the journal, which allowed him to enter into the list of scientific journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission.
