The article notes that changes are currently taking place in many areas of society that relate to basic social values. On the one hand, civil society is being formed within the framework of the rule of law in the country, on the other hand, the legal awareness of citizens and their system of legal values are being distorted, which, as a result, leads to an increase in deviant manifestations. The younger generation, whose value system is not fully formed, is particularly susceptible to negative influence. The author concludes that the lack of sufficient knowledge of the legal and moral norms on which an individual's social behavior is based can cause illegal actions of a teenager.
