PECULIARITIES IN ACTIVATING GRAMMATICAL SKILLS OF LANGUAGE STUDENTS THROUGH BIOGRAPHICAL TEXTS

Abstract (English):
This article aims to consider the problem of activation of the grammatical skills of students of language training areas. The article presents two algorithms for activating grammatical skills, compiled within the framework of a communicative-cognitive approach. These algorithms confirm the possibility of using a combination of technologies that allow you to develop grammatical skills with the greatest degree of efficiency. The main tool for organizing a training session is a biographical text. Grammar is one of the key linguistic aspects that must be mastered at a decent level in order to carry out high-quality communication in a foreign language. Biographical texts are a set of logically interrelated grammatical structures available for perception, analysis and memorization. This study is based on the principles of a communicative-cognitive approach, which assumes the development of communicative competencies. The paper presents a description of the text, a biographical text as a means of activating grammatical skills. The use of biographies of media personalities can significantly increase motivation to study and involve students in the process, since texts are left within the interests of students. The use of the developed algorithms is justified, since they include tasks aimed at developing students' cognitive abilities, which contributes to a more solid assimilation of grammatical structures and their subsequent use in the communication process.
