The authors of this article are engaged in the analysis of the current state of digitalization of society. They demonstrate the importance and necessity of ensuring the implementation of an advanced competence-based approach in the field of personnel management by small and medium-sized businesses operating in the Krasnodar Territory. This article presents the created competence profile, which includes the following elements: a set of professional knowledge and skills, a set of communicative competencies, a set of personal and business competencies, a set of managerial competencies. A model of the process of creating a competence profile was also proposed, along with the structure of the list of competencies of enterprises and SMEs.
