Based on various points of view, the article clarifies the concept of "creative abilities of adolescents", describes the main features of this phenomenon, considers the ways, opportunities and risks of organizing a cultural and educational environment in the development of creative abilities, gives a practical description of the development of creative abilities in the lessons of the basics of life safety.
