The article is a review of the results aimed at the study to enable a visually impaired person to ex-plore the world around them using a tactile map printed on a 3D-printer. As a research tool, the basics of 3D-modeling are used, with the help of the free and open resource “Blender”, a model of the land shaft of the investigated territory of the resort “Krasnye Gorki” will be built. To realize the research goals, it is proposed to create a 3D-model in order to then print it on a 3D-printer and use Braille to identify significant places on the object and inform people what is at a particular point.
