RESPONSIBLE FINANCING AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
Rubrics: FINANCE
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
In the modern world, the transition to a sustainable development model is becoming one of the significant trends. For the successful implementation of this transition, it is necessary to modernize not only the public policy system, but also to change the approach to corporate governance. The article discusses the processes associated with the transition to environmental responsibility (E), social sustainability (S) and improving the quality of corporate governance (G). The analysis shows that the introduction of the concept of sustainable development is limited by high financial risks associated with the implementation of such projects. These risks are due to the fact that "sustainable" projects often have lower profitability compared to traditional projects. Overcoming these problems is possible through the development of responsible financing mechanisms based on more active participation of public resources. The key concepts highlighted in the article are sustainable development, responsible financing, corporate governance, organization management, economic interests and financial risk. Further study of these aspects will allow us to develop effective strategies and mechanisms to reduce risks and successfully implement projects aimed at sustainable development.
