COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF GOAL-SETTING TECHNIQUES IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Abstract (English):
The research described in the article presents the results of the analysis of the main goal-setting techniques used in various approaches of project management. The main purpose of the study is to identify a common set of principles of goal-setting techniques and systematize them into a matrix that reflects the correlation of each principle from this set with individual methods. This approach allows us to apply a formalized analysis with minimal resources, to identify the similarity between groups of methods quantitatively and to choose the most appropriate methods for a specific project. Taking into account the complexity of project management, the development of clear and effective methods of goal-setting becomes a necessity to ensure the successful implementation of projects. The proposed matrix allows project managers and planners to make informed decisions based on systematic analysis, which contributes to improving the quality of project management and optimizing the use of resources. These conclusions play an important role in the field of project management and contribute to the improvement of the methodology and practice of goal-setting in project management.
