Abstract (English):
This article is devoted to a great event in Russian pedagogy – the 200th anniversary of the outstanding teacher Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky. The V International Scientific and Practical Conference "Pedagogy of Primary Education: Traditions and innovations", organized by the Moscow Pedagogical State University, is dedicated to this event, to understanding the contribution of K.D.Ushinsky to the development of pedagogical science and the education system in modern Russia. The article presents in detail the content of the two days of the conference.
