SINGLE-STAGE ENGINEERING SUPPORT OF WEAR RESISTANCE OF MACHINE PARTS BY EDM PROCES
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Theoretical dependences for deter-mining the wear intensity, depending on the modes and conditions of EDM process of ma-chine parts based on the energy approach to the processing and triboprocess, are given. These dependences make it possible to determine the optimal modes and conditions of EDM process for ensuring the required parameters of wear resistance (with a single-stage approach – di-rect engineering support).

Keywords:
wear intensity, electrical dis-charge machining (EDM), processing condi-tions
