STUDENT SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL LABORATORY AS A FORM OF ORGANIZATION OF ADDITIONAL EDUCATION OF FUTURE TEACHERS-DEFECTOLOGISTS

Abstract (English):
The article reveals various aspects of the student research laboratory as a form of additional education within the partnership between the university and the special library for the blind in the preparation of future speech pathologists for corrective work with children with visual impairment. The article describes the participation of students of the Faculty of Psychology in partnership projects of the university and the library. The experience of laboratory work organization as a form of additional education on the example of participation in a socially significant project is presented. Characteristics of the program of additional education are given and its directions are disclosed. The work of the laboratory is considered not only in the aspect of students' professional knowledge and skills in the field of training and education of children with visual impairment, but also as an opportunity for future speech pathologists to participate in socially useful activities.
