The modern digital world dictates its own trends and laws, against the background of which there is a change in the ways of thinking, highly qualified personnel are in demand, the preparation of which seems to be an urgent pedagogical task. Education is actively discussing the problem of the formation and development of digital literacy. Particular attention is paid to its components, aimed at developing the potential of the student on the basis of network interaction. In this regard, the theoretical foundations of digital literacy deserve detailed consideration, revealing the content of the concept of digital competence, as well as highlighting the criteria for achieving it.
