The article shows how a single project topic, formulated on the basis of the “domino principle”, can stimulate creative search and be embodied in several project products — various mathematical calendars. All calendars diff er among themselves by their target audience, form and content. The implementation of such projects is a means of professionalizing students of a pedagogical university in the aspect of improving their methodological, metamathematical and project competencies.
