The article deals with the innovative approach to the management of the intellectual capital of the university, taking into account the specifics of the educational institutions. It is concluded that the formation of the intellectual capital of the university is based on the process approach and intellectual capital growth software requires a strategic approach.

Интеллектуальный капитал (ИК) относится к новым, более сложным формам капитала, обладающим большим потенциалом экономической активности. Интеллектуальный капитал является видом капитала в том смысле, что наряду с другими видами служит фактором производства, причем единственным фактором производства, развитие которого имеет неограниченный ресурс как по качественно-количественным, так и по временным параметрам.
