SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL BARRIERS IN INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
While getting professional inclusive education disabled people face many challenges – social barriers. Authors analyze the influence of such a socio – psychological barrier as the negative attitude of people without disabilities towards disabled people, as it is often this "attitude" that hinders professional development of disabled people. In the framework of the scientific research "Inclusive professional education of disabled people with musculoskeletal system disorders" it was found that disabled students consider themselves competitive in relation to "healthy" ones in the inclusive educational environment, but that the idea of employment evokes fear, lack of self-confidence. Moreover, the students of the first group of disability much less associate themselves with professional development, mostly relying on social benefits. Students of the second group of disability feel the need of employment and look toward professional development. The result of training depends, in particular, on disabled people`s attitude to life processes.
