The paper addresses the task of monitoring the technical condition of digital tachographs during their operational period, which is relevant due to the lack of specialized tools for remote diagnostics of these devices. Most existing transport telematics systems are focused on controlling vehicle movement parameters and location, leaving the issue of tachograph integrity outside their functional capabilities. The aim of this work is to enhance the reliability of monitoring the technical state of digital tachographs in operation applying the methods of architectural design for distributed systems and software development based on a microservice approach. An architecture for a monitoring system is proposed, founded on independent services with asynchronous data processing, ensuring scalability and resilience when handling telemetry information streams. The implementation includes a TCP/IP-based data reception service, buffering of operational data, a processing and diagnostic service, as well as a web interface for visualizing the status of devices. To ensure independence from equipment manufacturers, an open structure for the data exchange protocol is used. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of implementing the developed system within operating organizations for proactive maintenance of tachographs, reducing risks of administrative liability, and increasing the reliability of technical condition control during the device operation.
