The article analyzes issues related to the digital transformation of the banking system. In the modern financial world, one of the drivers of the development of a financial institution is its ability to use various digital services that can potentially be used by the entire digital business ecosystem, within which artificial intelligence and all the potential opportunities associated with its use within digital platforms will occupy one of the dominant positions. The issues related to the aspects of introducing robotics and biometric identification elements into the banking system, which in turn are active components in the process of modernizing banking services and ways of working with clients, are considered. The article examines one of the main aspects of the banking system's activities – the issue of the security of data use and storage. In conditions of fierce competition and increased fraud in working with digital customer data, security issues play a key role as they are the basis for a customer-oriented approach. The analysis of the main problems faced by the banking system as a whole is carried out, the prospects for its development and issues of competitiveness are considered. Proposals have been formulated to create a unified digital platform within the digital business ecosystem, helping to reduce the level of data loss and financial resources of customers.
