The article presents the results of the author's research on the possibility of using AI tools to develop key competencies of civil servants. The key competencies of state and municipal employees that are significant for the effective performance of official tasks have been identified. The authors analyzed scenarios for using AI to develop key competencies of civil servants. A comparative description of domestic neural network tools used in training civil servants is presented. The logical conclusion of the study is the author’s step-by-step program for introducing domestic AI tools into the civil servant training system. The expected effects of introducing AI in the training of civil servants are formalized.
