This article is devoted to the study of personality crisis as a complex, multifaceted psychological phenomenon and the role of individual characteristics in its manifestations and dynamics. The purpose of the study is to diagnose and analyze the relationship between individual characteristics and the specifics of subjective experience of crisis states. The presented material examines the theoretical and methodological foundations of personality crisis, drawing on a significant body of scientific research by leading Russian and foreign psychologists who have studied this issue. The choice of a set of diagnostic methods is substantiated, and their application allowed for experimental and practical work to identify the relationship between personal characteristics and various manifestations of crisis in respondents who sought help from a practical psychologist. The results of the conducted psychodiagnostics allowed us to study the features of various types of crises (family, professional, loss, relationship, age-related, existential, and identity crises) and to trace their connection with the features of the respondent's "psychological portrait." Based on the results of the empirical study, it was concluded that individual psychological characteristics undoubtedly play an important role in the manifestation and experience of personal crises. This study provides valuable insights for further research and the development of personalized psychological counseling and therapy programs.
