This article examines cultural neologisms as markers of current sociocultural processes in the discourse of German-language online media. Despite existing scholarly interest in the structural, thematic, and linguacultural aspects of neologization, the specific functioning of these lexical units in the digital media environment remains insufficiently studied. The aim of this study is to identify, systematize, and analyze cultural neologisms in contemporary German online publications. Based on a content and discourse analysis of online media materials over the past 5–7 years, a classification of neologisms is proposed according to five key areas (sociopolitical, gender-inclusive, digital, pandemic, and emotional-evaluative) and an examination of their ideological content and the context of their emergence. The conclusion assesses the stability of the studied lexemes and their potential for consolidation in the linguistic norm.
