THE «VITAL ACTIVITY SECURITY AND DISASTER MEDICINE» COURSE IN THE LIGHT OF THE NEW EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS REQUIREMENTS

Abstract (English):
The paper provides practical experience on teaching the “Vital Activity Secure Safety” course at the Department of Vital Activity Secure and Disaster Medicine of Chita State Medical Academy in accordance with the requirements, stipulated by the Federal State Educational Standard of the 3rd generation (FGOS-3). Pressing aspects of teaching and professional skills are considered; the teaching course content, new educational technologies and innovative teaching techniques are analyzed. Within the Academy’s Practical Skills Center and the simulation class at Transbaikalia Regional Disaster Medicine Centre the correspondent classes are conducted, using dummies and phantoms. As one of the interactive teaching method the role play on the discipline concerned has been successfully pioneered. Also the paper features the role of special tactical training exercises and research work, conducted by students, as necessary to help them to master the required professional competencies.
