DIGITALIZATION OF EDUCATION IN HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVE: FROM PRINTING TO DISTANCE LEARNING
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
In recent decades, Russia has seen marked heterogeneity in its educational and economic space, cre-ating a complex map of regional differences and leading to uneven development of educational ser-vices. The emergence of local, isolated, and poorly integrated segments of the education market hinders the development of a unified national educational field and reduces the effectiveness of in-tellectual capital transfer. This situation reveals systemic imbalances, with some regions demonstrat-ing high levels of access to modern educational technologies, while others remain significantly lim-ited by traditional teaching methods and local resources. These structural differences necessitate a rethinking of the functioning of the Russian educational services market through a transformation of the paradigm of public intellectual capital. In the context of global digitalization and the accelerated integration of information and communications technologies (ICT), the implementation of distance and hybrid education models capable of overcoming geographic and infrastructural limitations is becoming particularly relevant. The transformation of pedagogical dynamics based on distance learning methods not only facilitates the expansion of accessibility to educational resources but also fosters new competency models in demand in the knowledge economy. Modernization of the 21st-century education system requires a comprehensive approach that integrates technological, organiza-tional, and methodological innovations. A key task is the creation of manageable mechanisms for the educational process, including distance management, monitoring of educational quality, and the integration of adaptive educational platforms that support personalized learning paths. This ap-proach improves the effectiveness of knowledge acquisition, encourages active student participa-tion, and creates a sustainable intellectual infrastructure capable of dynamic development in the con-text of the digital economy.
