This article explores the content and methodology of a teacher’s work within the “Vocabulary” section of the Russian language curriculum with primary schoolchildren with a migration history. The importance of the rich vocabulary of the Russian language for developing these children’s ability to communicate fluently both during the learning process and in everyday life is discussed. Examples of specific exercises for developing the vocabulary of primary schoolchildren with a migration history are provided.
