Abstract:
The article considers issues related to the linguacultural potential of using proverbs and sayings in Russian as a foreign language lessons. The purpose of this article is to identify and substantiate the linguacultural potential of proverbs and sayings as an effective means of developing intercultural communicative competence in Russian as a foreign language lessons. The study examines the theoretical and methodological foundations for using proverbs and sayings in linguodidactics, analyzes the linguacultural and linguadidactic potential of proverbs and sayings. The possibilities, advantages and goals of the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language using paremias are described. Methodological recommendations for the use of proverbs and sayings in Russian as a foreign language lessons are developed and presented. Special practical exercises aimed at developing intercultural and linguacultural competence of students are given.
