Abstract (English):
The article announces a book by AST Publishing House, which was created for preschool children as part of the publishing project “My Russia”. The purpose of the book is to expand preschoolers’ understanding of our country, its nature, cities, people’s work, and the moral values of Russian society. The content of the book is a journey through the vast expanses of our Motherland, led by Umka, a little polar bear. The commentary reveals the methodology for using this book both in educational institutions and in the process of family reading.
