The article presents the results of a study of teachers' opinions on their participation in the implementation of the summer shift program "Unity of Orlyata Rossii", identifies problems and determines areas for changes in the program to improve the quality of the educational process both in the children's camp and in the system of education of the promary schoolchildren as a whole. The results obtained show the need for further methodological work to improve the shift and find ways to take into account the results of the shift in the system of developing the social activity of schoolchildren - participants in the "Orlyata Rossii" program. A significant share of efforts should be directed at training students of pedagogical universities - future teachers and improving the skills of current teachers in order to understand and correctly apply the organizational foundations of children's collective creative activity.
