SPECIFICITY OF SPEECH ACTIVITY OF JUNIOR SCHOOLCHILDREN 
WITH SPEECH DISORDERS

Abstract:
The article considers speech activity as an important aspect of communication, which reflects individual abilities, psychophysiological and psychodynamic properties of the personality, as well as situational context, socio-cultural and psychological factors influencing communication. Based 
on the literature analysis, various approaches to the disclosure of this concept are presented; manifestations of speech activity in various functions of speech. Its role in speech and cognitive development; the main indicators that allow studying the meaningful manifestation of speech activity and the conditions for its development in children are also discussed. For the first time, the results 
of a study of 65 first-graders with general speech underdevelopment (ONR) are presented, which made it possible to identify their features and establish an insufficient level of speech activity 
on the basis of a qualitative and quantitative assessment. The causes of speech inactivity and 
the impact of digital technologies on speech communication are analyzed, emphasizing the need 
for further study of speech activity in the context of modern challenges.
