The article presents the theoretical and methodological foundations for the development of educational tourism in the city of Moscow in the context of educational geourbanistics. It substantiates a new direction for the development of geographical research: educational geourbanistics, which is based on the use of educational resources in the city and their application in educational activities. The article also presents current types of educational tourism in the Moscow urban environment. It provides a general description of the educational resources in Moscow and lists the possibilities and directions for their use in educational practice. The article provides a schematic representation of the use of educational resources in Moscow and offers methodological recommendations for their application in geographical education. The article concludes that it is advisable to consider the city's educational tourism from the perspective of educational geourbanistics, i.e., through the lens of the entire range of diverse urban resources.
