Abstract (English):
The purpose of the textbook is to familiarize students with the vocabulary in the specialty (electricity and electrical technology) on the basis of the average degree complexity of texts, the translation skills development, abstracting and annotating, activation and accumulation of terminological lexicon. Presented texts for reading, exercises and creative tasks contribute to the formation of communicative, professionally-oriented competencies. As a result of the material mastering the student will: know • lexical units of general and terminological; able • to read wiring diagrams; • use electrical tools in the work; master • the skills of oral and written professional communication. The textbook is intended for undergraduate training direction 13.03.02 "Power and Electrical Engineering." It can be used to organize individual and group work, as well as reference material. The textbook consists of four parts. The first part presents the tasks in the texts form, combining with a common theme, exercises series aimed at the assimilation of terminological vocabulary and develop oral statements skills. In the second part are suggested additional reading texts with different complexity levels; the texts are necessary comments and there is a glossary. The third part introduces the students with professional work tools and their purpose; this part is provided with a glossary and verification tasks. The fourth part there is a voluminous dictionary of phrases and expressions used in the electrical engineering.
