Abstract (English):
The tutorial outlines the pedagogical and psychological bases of teaching of geography. Along with the classical basis of the methodology the authors describe the problematic issues of geographical education, new technologies, forms and means of teaching geography. The questions reflected the history of geographical education in Russia. On the basis of the modern state of geographical science deals with questions of basic and differentiated content of secondary geographic education. The basis for the training of teachers is based on the ideas of developmental education, values, personality and activity principles. The textbook is prepared in accordance with the Federal state educational standard of higher education of the last generation. The textbook is intended for students majoring or direction 05.03.02 Geography, 44.03.01 the direction of "Pedagogical education" in higher educational institutions, as well as for teachers of geography and the Methodists.
