III All-Russian competition for the best scientific and educational publication "Academus"
 

 

 

The purpose of the contest

Demonstrate the achievements in the field of science, technology and education, presented in monographs, textbooks and teaching aids, attract readers to the results contained in them, open to the general public new talented authors and encourage them to further research work.

 
Applications are accepted from April 2, 2018 on October 1, 2018.

General conditions
 

1.   The competition can be submitted original scientific or educational works created in Russian or English, as well as author translations of works originally written in other languages. Work is considered as previously published, as well as unpublished. The amount of work can be not less than 10 and not more than 40 author's sheets (1 author sheet = 40 000 characters with spaces). Participation in the competition is free of charge.
2.  To nominate a work for the contest can:
the authors, if the rights to publish the works free (not actualise to other publishers or the term of the contract with another publisher expired);
educational institution, if the publication was created as part of official duties (labor contract).
3.   The works participating in the contest can not be published in other publishing houses until the outcome of the contest and announcement of winners. The organizing Committee reserves the right to exclude from participation in the contest works, under negotiation, or signed contracts with other publishers.
4.   Each author can submit any number of works.
5.   Participation in the competition is free of charge.

The competition is held in the following nominations (separately for educational and monographic literature):

3.     Natural sciences
4.     Healthcare
5.     Engineering and technical sciences
6.     Computer and Information Sciences
7.     Culture and art
8.     Social sciences, education and pedagogy
9.     Agriculture, forestry and fisheries
10.   Service industry
11.   Applied workers specialties
12.   Physics and mathematics
13.   Economics and management
14.   Jurisprudence
15.   Linguistics and Literary Studies

 

 

The order of the competition

1.   The authors give the work in full, in electronic or printed form. With the victory in the contest the publisher has the right to request a printed copy for production purposes.

2.   Manuscripts shall be sent in the file format  *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf,  file size — no more than 10 MB. In the cover letter you need to specify a nomination and the output of the previous edition, if the book was previously published. Training materials submitted to the Contest are not reviewed and not returned. 

3.   The authors provide information about each member of the group of authors:

  •  surname, name, patronymic (in full);
  •  place of work, position;
  •  contact e-mail address;
  •  a contact phone number.

Competition materials uploaded to the website www.naukaru.ru, through your personal account (registration required).

In exceptional cases, an application for the contest can be sent by e-mail: derikova_ta@infra-m.ru  
with a mark «Competition «Academus». 

If you plan to submit print jobs, you must first send a cover letter with information about authors to the following email address. 

4.   Laureates are awarded with diplomas and special prizes. The winners in all nominations of the competition of publishing house «INFRA-M» offers to conclude a contract for the publication of their works. 
The winner receives:

  • a free publication of their work on the basis of any of the 10 Russian publishing houses of the group of companies
  • royalties from sales of printed and electronic copies of the publication 
  • the opportunity to improve h-index, taking part in the program INFRA-M Citation

Publisher assumes all costs for the production and promotion of the publication, guarantee the permanent availability of the edition in sale both for educational institutions and for private buyers.
