Abstract:
Assembly of industrial products is one of the most difficult and responsible stages of modern discrete manufacturing. Many modern products consist of a large number of parts and are characterized by high structural complexity. The development of technological processes for the assembly of such machines or devices is impossible without the use of modern information technologies. The monograph is devoted to the mathematical support of computer-aided design systems for assembly processes. Modeling of structural and geometric properties of complex technical systems is discussed in detail. The methods of automated synthesis of such important design solutions as the sequence of assembly/disassembly and decomposition of the product into assembly units are described. It is of interest to specialists in the field of design automation, geometric modeling, applied mathematics and programmers.
